They lived with mountain gorillas

FREE special Zoom presentations May 8 and June 5 – Register Soon

Not everyone who writes a book about mountain gorillas makes it on the recommended reading list of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Writing Guide to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, Home to Critically Endangered Mountain Gorillas was a labor of love and during the time I was in Rwanda and working on my book at home I met some wonderful people who helped me in many ways. As I work on a 4th revision of my book and continue to follow my dreams to do more to help these magnificent animals, I invite anyone who is interested in Africa and mountain gorillas to join me on May 8 and June 5. Both Dr. Alan Goodall and Judy Chidester have had incredible experiences working at the Karisoke cabin where Dian Fossey dedicated her life to both studying and protecting mountain gorillas in Rwanda from 1967-1985. Many have seen the 1988 movie Gorillas in the Mist with Sigourney Weaver as Dian Fossey. Now you can meet two people who not only worked with Dian Fossey, but also lived in her cabin high in the Virunga mountains.
